Effective date: 10/6/26
This policy covers the Repjectory app: what it collects, what we do with it, and what you can change. Repjectory is made by The Bullpen Training LLC.
In brief
Most of what you enter in Repjectory stays on your phone. If you make an account, we keep your name and email so you can sign in. When you ask the app to read a photo or a voice note, we send it to Google's AI service to read and then discard it. We don't sell your information, show ads, or track you in other apps. You can delete your account from inside the app.
What you enter
You can record bats, hitting and pitching sessions, swing numbers, lessons, games and player profiles. A player profile can hold a name, photo, birthday, graduation year, position and which hand the player bats and throws with.
All of this is saved on your device. We only receive it if you use one of the features described below that has to send it.
Your account
You don't need an account to use Repjectory. If you want one, you can sign in three ways.
-
Apple. Apple gives us your name and email address. If you pick "Hide My Email", we get a private relay address from Apple instead of your real one.
-
Google. Google gives us your name, email address and profile picture.
-
Email. We email a one-time code to the address you type in.
For each account we keep the email address, name, sign-in method and an account ID. Our email provider, Resend, delivers the sign-in codes.
Cloud sync
[Not available yet. When it is, anything you choose to sync will be stored on our servers so you can restore it on another device, and this section will list exactly what is stored. We will update this policy before the feature is switched on.]
Photos and voice notes the app reads for you
Three features read information so you don't have to type it:
-
Bat scan. You photograph a bat, its box, its tag or a product listing, and the app fills in the bat's details.
-
Session scan. You add a photo, screenshot or file of a session report, for example from HitTrax, TrackMan or Rapsodo, and the app fills in the swings.
-
Voice swing entry. You tap the microphone and say the swing, and the app logs it.
When you use one of these, the app sends the photo or recording to our server, which passes it to Google's Gemini API. The answer comes back to your phone. We don't store the photo or the recording. Our server keeps a technical record of the request (its type, size and time) and nothing more. Google handles the content under its paid Gemini API terms and may keep it for a limited time to catch abuse. [Check Google's current Gemini API terms before publishing.]
Background removal. If you remove the background from a photo on your phone, the app may send that photo to remove.bg to do it. The app asks you first.
Camera and microphone
The camera takes the photos you choose to scan, and it can read a Pocket Radar display for you. Radar frames are read on your phone. They are never saved or sent anywhere.
The microphone turns on only when you tap the microphone button, for one swing at a time.
You can switch off either permission in your phone's Settings. Everything else in the app keeps working.
Subscriptions and payments
[When subscriptions are available:] Apple handles every purchase, so we never see your card or payment details. Apple tells us which plan you have and whether it is active, in a free trial, renewed or cancelled. The app uses that to unlock the features you paid for.
Technical information
When the app talks to our server, the server sees your device's IP address and basic details of the request. We use these to run the service, to stop abuse with rate limits, and to fix problems. We don't use advertising or analytics tools, and we don't build profiles of the people who use the app.
Who we share information with
We don't sell or rent personal information. We share it only with the companies that run parts of Repjectory for us, and only what each one needs:

We will also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect the safety and rights of our users or anyone else.
Young players
Repjectory is meant for coaches, parents and players aged 13 and up. Only people aged 13 or older may create an account.
Coaches and parents can record details about younger players, such as a name, photo, birthday and swing numbers. The adult enters that information, and unless it is synced, it stays on the adult's device. Please add a player only if you are their parent or guardian, or have their parent or guardian's permission.
We don't knowingly create accounts for children under 13. If you think a child under 13 has made an account, tell us and we will delete it.
How long we keep information, and deleting it
Information on your device stays there until you delete it in the app or delete the app.
You can delete your account in the app under [Settings → Delete account]. We then remove the account and everything we hold for it within [30] days, unless the law requires us to keep something. You can also ask us to do it by email.
Photos and voice notes sent to be read are discarded once they have been read.
Your rights
Email us to get a copy of the account information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Depending on where you live, local law may give you more rights, and we will handle requests the way that law requires.
Security
The app talks to our servers over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, so we keep as little about you as the app needs to work.
Where your information is processed
Our servers are in the United States. If you use Repjectory from another country, your information is processed in the United States.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we will update the effective date at the top. For bigger changes, we will tell you in the app before they take effect.
